Owain Fontanella
Owain Fontanella or “creative cowboy” is an aspiring illustrator based in South Wales, who prioritises colour and simple shapes over realistic forms.
During his time at university, he has gained a much deeper appreciation for colour and its many functions, coming from the strictly monochrome aesthetic he had before. His more recent works take route in children’s illustration, brought on by his love of modern cartoons, where he enjoys exploring mature but realistic themes in a lighter manner.
Although he enjoys working in a variety of art styles, from realism to concept art, he has a keen interest in working within children’s literature and graphic print, hoping to soon develop and publish his own book “Ike & Uno”.
